I am going to
focus on BlackBerry Browser.
As most of the BlackBerry
users are not seeking for
cheesy graphics on the
Internet, but mostly read
news, weather and other
text based content, the
following configuration will
speed up your browser by
70%. To optimize it for text
reading we will
1. Open BlackBerry
Internet Browser.
2. Click [BlackBerry Menu
Button] [ Options].
3. Click [Browser
Configuration].
4. Disable JavaScript and
Images.
5. Save.
Enjoy!
P.S. You also can play with
the settings as I know from
my past experience, some
images are pretty important
when reading news. I would
still strongly recommend to
disable JavaScript (unless
required) as its the most
time-consuming precess when
loading a page. *
